curious...

i feel like the word 'member' meaning 'body part' is only preserved in english in two places:

* the word 'dismemberment'
* and a euphemism for 'penis'

if there are more, they don't spring easily to my mind!

now, whenever i heard 'dismemberment,' i will think 'de-penising'
